Our Wedding

We both met at the Italian Grille in Auburn, IN, I had been first introduced to him by a million and one question game. We had talked on and off at work and slowly we became friends, from here we got placed together to complete numerous tasks together. One of the nights I had been having just a rainy day, and I stepped out back to take a breather. Shortly after I sat on the curb out back Duke came out shortly after and just sat down next to me. The first line out was "You don't need to tell me what's going on, I'm just here for you." meanwhile it was freezing outside and had started to snow. We sat outside for probably 10- 15minutes. Me being me, I just completely vented to him and told him what was going on. Then after we talked out back we went back inside and he instantly started to shiver and preceded to put his hat, scarf, coat and gloves on.Then immediately, because I started to laugh and found out that he gets cold easily, he started to flirt and put spaghetti noodles (specifically angel hair) on my head. I went home that night and talked with my sister and told her that I really liked him, that I thought he was sweet, caring, and I had a warm feeling around him. It was like a magnet almost.A month or less after this we really started talking more, he had asked me out on a "date" to Glenbrook mall, I said no, just because I felt awkward, then later that night my sister..*sigh*.. decided to just blurt out that we liked each other and both of us separately had been telling her that we liked each other but we're to scared to tell each other. We were just friends and didn't want to change that or ruin it. So we were both right next to each other when she said that and we made eye contact and he asked me "So what do we do from here." I said, "No comment".So, we started to talk closer as friends I said we should stay just friends for now. Then when I turned 18, we started courting, we were attending Faith Baptist Church of Fort Wayne, then we both chose to start going to our current home church New Life Baptist where we have both continued to grow in our faith, and together and have been blessed beyond measure!
