Our Wedding

We began our romantic journey in February of 2020 in one of the most unlikely of settings, a school classroom. We first crossed paths in a finance class in our master's program at the College of Staten Island. Students in the class had to divide up into groups for a semester long project &amp; presentation, and we just so happened to be paired up. Our conversations began scholastically in nature, but eventually we began to socialize and started dating. Unfortunately, the pandemic threw us both for a loop and we were forced to speak strictly through FaceTime calls. However, physical distance could not keep us apart and once the social distancing bans were lifted, we were finally able to spend time with one another face to face. While most couples are off planning events on the weekends and are eager to socialize in large gatherings, we are far more within our element in the comfort of our own homes. More often than not, we prefer to relax and watch a stand-up comedy special, or check another Disney movie off the list. Anyone who knows our weekend routine would say we embody the cliché of an elderly couple, as Alex works on her crocheting and Nick sits quietly next to her enwrapped in one of his books. Throughout the last four years, we have continued to forge an inseparable bond, learned more and more about one another, embarked on exciting vacations and adventures, and developed extremely close relationships with one another's families. We became engaged on November 25th, 2023 and have been tirelessly planning and counting down to the best day of our lives ever since.
