When booking your flight, you will fly into the Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos). There are no direct planes from the U.S. to Karpathos (it is a very small island!). There are two options to reach the island: by plane or by boat. The plane ride is an easy 65 minutes and you will arrive at the Karpathos National Airport (AOK). While the boat takes longer, it can be a really nice experience! Blue Star ferries offer 3 weekly sailings and Anek Lines offers 2.
