Austin and Alexandra met at a not so typical college party in 2016. The party was located in Copemish, Michigan in the middle of a corn field... yes a corn field! Little did they know they would find their perfect match that night. Allie was brave enough to introduce herself first and the conversation flowed all night. They talked about having the same favorite ski run in Steamboat, Colorado to spending their entire childhood summers vacationing on Mackinac Island. That night, Austin decided to get out of the car and walk Allie up to her dorm room entrance and Allie knew instantly this is the man of her dreams. Austin went home that night and told his entire family that night he found the woman he was going to marry.

They planned their first date at The Dish in Traverse City, Michigan. After their first date, Austin decided to take Allie home to meet his family. When Allie first met Mrs. Webb, she welcomed her into her lovely home. Austin then decided to take Allie downstairs to meet his father. Mr. Webb was all cozied up in his usual spot, chillin in his pajamas when he met Allie. As the night proceeded Austin insisted on putting on his favorite show Trailer Park Boys and the three of them watched the TV show together.

Austin eventually met the Kramer family on a family ski vacation at Schuss Mountain during Christmas break. Austin fit in perfectly with the Kramer crew. Even Kiv approved of this boyfriend of Allies. During Austin and Allie’s long distance relationship, Austin would come visit every three months and they would spend time fishing and swimming on Allie’s family’s lake.

Austin and Allie continued to grow in their relationship. They had many ski dates at Crystal Mountain during college. They went through a long distance relationship one summer when Austin was working at Wawashkamo Golf Course on Mackinac Island. Allie spent time learning about Austin's home town in Traverse City as he learned about little Olivet.

Austin moved to South Carolina for golf school in 2018. Austin and Allie had to do long distance again for another two years! Allie decided to join Austin in the Lowcountry in 2020. The two currently live in Bluffton, South Carolina with their two cats River and Snow.

Austin and Allie share the same interest in camping, fishing and hiking. They planned a camping trip to Asheville, North Carolina in 2023. The two started the morning off with a short hike to Looking Glass Falls. Austin and Allie were standing in front of the falls and Austin made a comment, “Hey, let's get a photo together in front of this waterfall.” Austin then asked someone to take their photo. Austin finally came back over to Allie for the picture and instead of Austin standing next to Allie for the photo he began to get down on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage.

As the years continue, their love for each other grows stronger every day and they will never forget that night they met in a corn field.
