Wil and Alexandra met online in October 2022. The text conversation was average at best, and they both almost cancelled the first date. Luckily, they showed up and the chemistry was obvious right from the start by bonding over Star Wars, Star Trek, and musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar.

Wil proposed at sunset during picnic at Dockweiler Beach in El Segundo, CA in December 2023. The beach is at the end of the LAX runways, so they spent the evening watching planes take off over the ocean, eating charcuterie, and drinking wine they bought together during a wine tasting trip to Los Olivos.
