What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 25, 2026
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please RSVP online on our website
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
Our venue is Oyster Bay Yacht Club, Fernandina Beach, Florida. Both the ceremony and reception spaces are wheelchair accessible.
What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
A ferry shuttle will be provided by Amelia Island River Boat Cruises, departing from their marina at 1 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach. Please arrive at the shuttle location by 3:00 pm. Upon arrival at the venue, guests will be escorted to the ceremony site.
A trolley shuttle will return guests to the same marina after the wedding.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the garden. Cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors and in a covered outdoor area. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways and will briefly step on grass to reach their seats. For that reason, stiletto or other very thin heels are not recommended.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes. We've reserved a room block at The Hampton Inn Amelia Historic District, 19 S 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL - about a 5-minute walk to the marina. Please book by August 7, 2026 to guarantee a room in our block. Mention the Mattei/Lefebvre wedding to receive our reduced rate or use the following code: https://www.hilton.com/en/book/reservation/deeplink/?ctyhocn=AISHSHX&groupCode=CHHMLW&arrivaldate=2026-09-18&departuredate=2026-09-20&cid=OM,WW,HILTONLINK,EN,DirectLink&fromId=HILTONLINKDIRECT
There are also several lovely bed-and-breakfasts downtown and many rentals available through VRBO and Airbnb.
What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?
If you miss the deadline, contact the hotel and mention our wedding - they may be able to still offer our rate outside of the block. Otherwise, consider the many nearby vacation rentals and B&Bs.
What's the best airport to use?
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest major airport.
Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport accommodates private and charter planes.
What is best way to get from airport to Fernandina Beach?
In addition to Uber and Lyft guests can download the WYRD app, or contact 5 Star Ride Share or Daniel's Transportation if you do not want to rent a car. In addition, if a group of you will be arriving at the same time to the airport Blue Sky of Amelia Transportation can do small group transportation to and from the airport.
If you are staying at the hotel block, or a bed and breakfast or rental home in the historic district you will most likely not need a rental car for the weekend.
What's the dress code for your wedding?
Resort semi-formal. Think sundresses, cocktail dresses, dressy separates, suits, or a dress shirt and tie. Please, no shorts or jeans.
The brides kindly request that women do not wear black.
What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Florida in early fall is still warm—average daytime highs in the mid-80s°F and evenings in the upper-70s°F. If you’re arriving Thursday or early Friday, bring a swimsuit to enjoy Amelia Island’s beaches.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes. We will have gluten-free and nut-free options, and no shellfish will be served.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes—throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
Water will be provided on the ferry shuttle and at the ceremony.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
You'll find the link to our registry on our website under the tab Honeyfund.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence is the greatest gift! We’ve combined two households; if you wish to honor us, we’re requesting donations to our honeymoon fund. A card box will be available at the reception.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Please arrive at the shuttle location by 3:00 PM to allow time for check-in and transit to the venue.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
The reception will end around 10:00 PM. A trolley shuttle will transport guests back to downtown Fernandina Beach. Nearby nightlife includes The Decantery, The Palace Saloon (Florida’s oldest bar), and The Green Turtle Tavern.
