Kyle and Alex first met during Alex's senior week at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY in May 2013.

Alex and Kyle both lived downtown a few streets apart in Rochester and ran into each other in the Spring of 2015. They had their first date at Half Pint Pub, on the same street of the apartment they live in now. They visited Lilac fest, and went on a wine tour that Spring.

Alex and Kyle both love adventures and planned dates exploring cities, parks, festivals, wineries and traveled to Europe. They went to Lisbon in Spring of 2016.

Alex and Kyle met with friends at Zugibe Vineyards on Sunday May 28, 2017, on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. They took photos in front of the view over Seneca Lake and that's when Kyle began to give his proposal. He talked about the past, present and future and popped the question!

Kyle said he had plans for the rest of the day. They went to some wineries and breweries and then back to his parents house for a surprise party with their grandparents, parents and siblings who had all traveled from different cities.
