Azad and Alex met at a local bar known as The Brooksider. Alex was working as a waitress/bartender while in school at Rockhurst, and Azad worked as a part time bartender in between shifts at the fire station.

Azad and Alex's first date was on February 13th, 2021. The weather that day was below 0 degrees and Azad thought it would be smart to pick Alex up in his Jeep that does not have working heat... But do not worry, he brought her a blanket to use in the car. They spent the first part of their date at the Nelson Atkins Museum, followed by teaching Alex how to drive the stick-shift jeep. After an hour of Alex "killing" the jeep over and over, they went for cocktails and dinner at Summit Grill. These two have been together since.

Azad and Alex both live in their house in Kansas City along with their two fur babies, Finley and Oatmeal. If they are not at home playing with the pups, you can find them hanging out with their amazing group of friends, discovering the best food in Kansas City, or at the pickle-ball courts playing a friendly match.
