Rafael and Alexandra met in the summer of 2018. Alex was in the process of moving back to Boston, and was staying with a friend while looking for apartments. Alex and Rafael matched on a dating app. Rafael asked when Alex could hang out, and she said most days would be free, other than a Red Sox game with friends. Turns out, Rafael was going to the SAME game with a friend, as well! They met near concessions at Fenway Park, and the rest was history. Sharing a mutual love of the Red Sox, Alex and Rafael have returned to the park every year since.

Rafael proposed in March 2023, while visiting friends in Florida. They were out to eat at a Mexican restaurant, Alex's favorite! It was an immediate yes, of course!

Now, Rafael and Alexandra live together just south of Boston, in the house they bought last year. They have two kitty cats. Rafael and Alexandra love adventuring together and spending time with friends and family. They can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you!
