Our first date was at Henry James, a bar in East Nashville. We bonded over a shared love of travel before ending the night with several rounds of darts. Apparently, Cupid was also playing, because the rest, as they say, is history!

We fell in love while exploring Nashville together; hiking at the Warner parks and admiring the changing seasons at Centennial Park and Cheekwood. The restaurants, concert venues, and sidewalks of Nashville formed the backdrop of our early love story.

After a six-month deployment, we reunited in Jordan for our first international adventure, a whirlwind tour of Amman, Jerash, Madaba, Petra, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea. We dove beneath the Red Sea, touched the baptismal waters, and camped in the desert under the stars. After camel and carpet rides, we returned home for our next adventure: a visit the Hoosier state.

Alexandra experienced her first Marshall County Blueberry Festival, swam in the mighty Maxincuckee, and walked the Culver Academy grounds. We met old friends and checked in on the old family farm. Not long after the visit, it was time to continue the adventure. So...

We followed a family tradition to Niagara Falls, where Alexander proposed! The rainbows in the photos are beautiful but don't fully capture the day's magic. We donned ponchos for a boat ride below the falls and were giddy with jubilance as we crossed the border into Canada and celebrated with champagne in a revolving restaurant overlooking the sun set on the falls.

The Army and our shared love of travel keep us on the go. We can't wait to slow down for a weekend and celebrate our marriage with family and friends in the place where it all began!
