Our story starts as so many these days do...on a dating website. We both explored CatholicMatch.com to find the person God made for us.

Alix messaged Nick first and seven short months later he responded! She decided to give him a second chance. Their chemistry and connection felt special from the beginning that would have been a little sooner if Alix hadn't tested positive for COVID-19 two days before their first date. 12 days of quarantine and hundreds of text messages later, Nick set up their special first date at Can Can Wonderland and everything has felt right ever since.

Nick proposed on an unseasonably cold St. Patrick's Day 11 months after their first date. After attending Mass together at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, he invited Alix to pray with him in the Mary garden outside the church. Little did she know that he had one more thing to ask her after they finished praying in the freezing cold!

We are so grateful to God for His plan for our lives and how he brought us together. We cannot wait to celebrate God's love for us on our wedding day and to see you all there!
