It all started in October of 2022...when Bryant finally caved and downloaded a dating app. Four days after joining the app, he met his future wife! *Shoutout to Micayla for encouraging Alexandra to "swipe right" on a younger man ;)* He was drawn to her love for God, care for people, and of course, their mutual love of Chili's- which would end up being their dinner whilst playing Battleship on their first Zoom date (she won...several times).

Alexandra quickly fell for Bryant's kindness, care for his friends and family, and creative Zoom dates, plus he looks great in a flannel ;). Several Zoom dates later Bryant flew to Florida to meet Alexandra and accompany her to a New Year's Eve Party. This is where they made things official and unknowingly began the saga of tearful airport goodbyes.

Several trips were taken back and forth from Minnesota to Florida as these two continued to build their relationship. Their adventures included playing bingo, exploring Como zoo, spending time with family, going bowling, salsa dancing, going to Al's breakfast (a Minneapolis favorite), splitting banana splits ;P, sharing BOGO Margaritas with chips and salsa at Chili's, and introducing one another to the best parts of each other's lives.

Fast forward to July and Bryant made the leap of faith to move to Gainesville after graduating. The two have been inseparable since! After much careful planning and crafting false leads for detective Alexandra, Bryant asked Alexandra to marry him on November 4th with our immediate families.

Also, look at God- two days after proposing, Bryant started his new career job! Amen! Bryant and Alexandra are both so thankful for how God has heard their prayers for a safe move for Bryant, his job here in Florida, Alexandra's new job, and of course, their prayers of meeting one another! Who knew this would all come from a little bit of faith and a random Christian dating app?!
