On this special day, we would like for everyone to come in their Sunday best. Whether that means boots, nice jeans, a button down and cowboy hat; a sundress and boots; slacks and a sport coat; heels (stilettos might be a challenge on the dry grass), flats, dress shoes, loafers, fellies, or otherwise; it is whatever your Sunday best means to you. Steamboat/Hayden is more than Ski Town USA, home to Olympians and a popular destination for thousands of international skiers. The Yampa Valley locals are a western/ranching community, which includes us! We are excited for you to experience this place we call home, full of epic views, welcoming people, and experiences worth writing home about. Whether your semi-formal attire adopts a bit of the Western culture that is Hayden, or is inspired by your hometown's version of semi-formal, we are excited to see everyone in their idea of Sunday best!

Above all else, your presence is the greatest gift. We are elated to be surrounded by friends and family we love dearly.
Do you have any tips for hiking in the area?
Steamboat sits at about 6,500 ft. of elevation which means the air gets a bit thin when you start climbing. Bring plenty of water, electrolytes, good shoes, and snacks if you decide to hike. Take it at a slightly slower pace if you're coming from sea level to avoid altitude sickness. If you're hydrated, well-fueled and listen to your body, you will have an epic time!
