Alexandra and Benjamin kindly request an unplugged ceremony and ask for guests full presence during the ceremony. Save your battery by silencing and putting away all devices. The bride and groom have hired a professional media team to capture every moment. You'll get free images to share from our photographer!

The ceremony and the reception are in the same venue, the McKay Tower Ballroom.

The entire day will be indoors.

There is FREE street parking on the weekends. It is recommended to arrive early if you are unsure where to park, as it is in downtown Grand Rapids. The Ellis Parking Garage is across the street from the venue entrance. If you're staying at a hotel, the venue is less than a 3 minute walk to all of the hotels we recommended.

Following the ceremony, immediate family will take family formals and the bridal party will take photos. In preparation for the reception, all guests will be asked to exit for a room flip. Not sure what to do? Check out the "Things to do" tab for suggested places nearby. Don't worry! The open bar will be waiting for you after the flip.

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivories, and creams.

We are asking our guests to dress in semi-formal/formal attire. We would appreciate if guests did not wear jeans to this event. Still unsure? We recommend pink or black!

Due to limitations and to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children under the age of 12.

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let Alexandra and Benjamin know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so plans can be made accordingly. Any RSVPs with no response will automatically be marked decline after the deadline.

As you may know, Miss Meaty is often booked with television news specials and Tik-Tok star events. We inquired with her agent, but unfortunately, she has a prior obligation. She says she sends her best to her parents.
