It is a story of two people.
From two different high schools.
Rival high schools.
A shy former cheerleader from Charlotte Catholic High School.
An outgoing football player from South Mecklenburg High School.
The rules say they never should have met.
But fate tends to have a mind of its own.
And some rules are meant to be broken.
On Halloween Night 2015, a friend of Alex's suggested their group attend a party being hosted by a South Meck student whom the girls had never met. Upon arrival at the Gonzalez family home, the girls were met by Frankie who shared the disappointing news that the party was already over. His mission was to get these girls off the property.
Seeing this lively group of girls, Frankie's younger brother Anthony intervened and decided that this Halloween party was anything BUT over.
And by the end of the evening on that special Halloween, amidst the costumes, candy and decorations, the sparks of love were ignited between two high schoolers from two rival schools.
On June 1, we celebrate the sparks that were ignited 8 years ago as Alex and Frankie are united in marriage with support from their dearest family members and friends.
