Downtown Portland isn't very big but there also isn't a lot of parking. We strongly encourage you to walk to both the ceremony and reception or carpool. It is about a mile walk between the church and the reception location.

There is some metered street parking near the church, and we have a lot with about 50 spaces at the reception venue.

Portland has taxis (including Uber) if you want to use those to get from place to place.

We are so excited that you are considering attending our wedding. August in Maine is beautiful but also very popular, so we highly recommend booking flights and hotels as early as possible!
Because it is high tourism season in Maine, hotels do not allow blocks. Any hotels we recommend are not part of a group booking, but rather options you can book independently that we have vetted and are comfortable recommending to you.

We recommend having a car while you are here, as Portland does not have many public transit options. If you only plan to be downtown, however, you could get away with walking everywhere.
