The Alex's met back in 2022, after being put into a sales competition: "Alex vs. Alex".

Alexander likes to joke that he spent the next year "wearing her down". They'd talk on the phone every few days, griping about work and making stupid jokes. Finally, Alexander decided he wanted to take Alexandria on a date.

In true fashion, Alexandria said no, but Alexander was so sure. She lived in South Carolina, he lived in Kentucky. He told her if she'd let him take her on a date, he would drive the 5 hours from Lexington, KY to Greenville, SC to do just that. And that's exactly what he did.

Alexander will say he always knew Alexandria was the one.

Alexandria will say she couldn't pinpoint exactly when she knew, but one day she became as certain as he always was.

After that, they became inseparable. They moved from the south, to Columbus, OH, and before Alexandria's birthday in 2024, Alexander asked her family for permission to ask her to marry him.

Spoiler alert! They said yes! Then, she said yes!

As the wedding planning began, neither Alex really had their heart set on the big party, so they decided they wanted to do something that was just for them - something private and intimate that they could cherish forever, especially before the stress of a big party. So, The Alex's became The Boyd's in a little Columbus Courthouse.

As they continued wedding planning, they knew the wedding just wasn't them.

Deciding to put that money towards a home and a family, and save the guests the hassle of traveling to South Carolina, Alexandria & Alexander are proud to announce their elopement - and many more beautiful milestones to come!
