Our story began in 2006 at Granada Middle School during a fire drill. Robert was behind Alexandria and her friend, cracking jokes to keep them entertained. Little did we know, that moment of laughter was the start of something special.


That following year, we went on our first date to see Happy Feet. It was a memorable evening shared with Robert’s mom, sister, Ricki, cousin, Matt, Aunt, Yvonne, and Alexandria’s best friend, Nancy. This first date was just the beginning of many adventures and shared milestones.


Navigating High School and Beyond


As high school progressed, our relationship faced a significant challenge when Alexandria moved to Corona at the start of our sophomore year. The distance tested our relationship, but it also made us cherish the moments we had together even more. Despite our struggles, we couldn’t deny that no one compared to what we had with each other.


After high school, we embarked on our first big adventure: EDC, a music festival, in Las Vegas. Neither of our parents knew, and we cleverly kept our whereabouts a secret. That weekend, brimming with music and excitement, became a turning point in our lives. It was a glimpse of the countless adventures we would share in the years to come.


Building a Life Together


As we transitioned into adulthood, we encountered both triumphs and hardships. Balancing college, work, and life wasn’t always easy, but we embraced every challenge and celebrated every victory. We took trips to Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, and Mexico, all while balancing the demands of adulthood. We never lost sight of what mattered most: having fun, being playful, but working our ass off to achieve greater things. We are kids at heart, always seeking joy and new experiences.


Each step we take strengthens our bond and reaffirms that we are meant to be together.


Five years ago, we took a significant step by moving into our first apartment together. Despite the initial difficulties of living together, our home became a haven of love and laughter. Alexandria’s passion for cooking turned our kitchen into a culinary playground, with Robert as her enthusiastic taste tester. Our weekends were filled with family dinners, drinks with friends, and cozy nights in with DoorDash and our Nintendo Switch.


Facing Challenges Together


Our journey together has not been without its trials. A particularly harrowing moment occurred when our apartment was accidentally shot at. While this was a terrifying experience, it highlighted our ability to support each other through adversity and demonstrated the strength of our families' support.


Adventures and New Beginnings


One of our most memorable adventures was our trip to Bangkok, Thailand. For Robert, it was his first time leaving the continent, and for Alexandria, it was her farthest travel. We fell in love with the experience and have already started planning our next adventure to Japan.


A Proposal and the Path Ahead


The most recent chapter in our love story began when Robert finally asked Alexandria to marry him. After seeking her father’s blessing and sharing the news with our families, we began planning our wedding. The excitement and joy of this next chapter have made the planning process a cherished experience. Alexandria even admitted that she wishes the wedding would come sooner!


As we look forward to our future, we are excited to continue laughing, loving, and being playful together. We are deeply grateful for the support and love from our families, which has been a cornerstone of our journey. We wouldn’t be here without each of you.
