We met one autumn, long ago,

On RWU’s paths where memories grow.

Just friends at first, a casual start,

Yet time would lead us to share one heart.

Life took us wandering different roads,

New places, plans, and memories made,

But somehow we kept holding on

To a friendship time could never fade.

Then one warm Boston summer night,

Eleven years later, we reconnected.

A spark appeared we couldn’t ignore,

Our friendship gently became much more.

A visit south, a hopeful leap,

A move to Miami with Sushi in tow,

A brand-new start we built together,

Letting something steady grow.

On Cape Cod’s shore, he set the scene,

With candles lit and flowers near.

She joked, “So when will you propose?”

Three minutes later—it was here.

We walked the beach near Kennedy’s land,

Dreaming of all that comes to be.

14 years since our paths first crossed,

We’re finally choosing “we.”

Now we celebrate with all of you

The ones who make this journey sweet.

A long road led us to this moment,

Where two old friends become complete.
