What should I wear?
The ceremony and reception is cocktail attire and the other events are all Snappy Casual.
Note that Tahoe in June should be beautiful with warm days but the nights get cold when the sun goes down.
4-H is an active outdoor camp, so please wear sturdy shoes (do not recommend sharp heels).
Can I bring my kids?
We are lucky to have so many friends with families and young children, but just due to sheer size we're only having flower girls/ring bearers attend the wedding.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?
Yes there is parking at 4-H that holds about 25 cars. If you can, please carpool or Uber from your accommodation! The venue is a short one mile away from all major hotels in South Lake Tahoe.
South of North Brewing has very limited parking for the welcome party.
Can I stay on-site?
This option is available on Saturday night! If you opt to stay at Camp, you'll be in group cabins, with very rustic single bunks, and group bathrooms. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillow, and sleeping bag. If this is your jam, go for it! If not, we recommend staying at a hotel or house nearby. Alex and Colin will be staying off site as well. See the accommodations page for recommendations.
What is the altitude?
South Lake Tahoe sits at over 6,200 feet above sea level, so you may feel the effects of altitude such as lightheadedness, headache, or shortness of breath, especially if you're coming from sea level. Be sure to stay hydrated and give yourself time to acclimate.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The ceremony and reception will be wheelchair accessible, yes.
