Andrew, the up-and-coming lawyer freshly planted in Montclair, showed up charming and slightly overdressed. Alex, juggling grad school at Seton Hall like a champ, brought wit, warmth, and a quiet suspicion that this might actually be something. Spoiler alert: it was something. Through long phone calls, Netflix marathons, and enough cups of coffee to fuel a small nation, they built something steady.
