Their story first began during the summer of 2011, when Alex was working at Sunglass Hut in University Mall. While at work, she was approached by a young man by the name of Dedric. They exchanged phone numbers, and really, the rest was history!

Over the years, Alex & Dedric became really good friends (like best friends) but didn't really take each other too serious about "officially dating" LOL! However, as time progressed, in October 2016, they began officially dating!

On the evening of Saturday, August 26, 2023, while they were attending an annual family reunion with Alex's family, Dedric popped the big question!
