Luis & Alexandria’s love story began in Dallas, TX at The University of Texas Southwestern Physician Assistant program during the challenging times of COVID-19 in 2020. Amidst the stress & uncertainty, they found comfort & joy in each others company, studying together & pulling all-nighters as they worked towards their goals of both becoming a Physician Assistant.


Beyond their shared academic pursuits, their connection grew through rounds of golf, tennis matches & a variety of outdoor adventures. As they spent more time together, they not only fell in love with each other but also grew close to each others family & friends, who quickly became an integral part of their lives.


Their joy was further amplified when they welcomed a new member into their lives in 2023: Bexar, a Doberman Pinscher, who became best buddies with Alex’s mini schnauzer, Zoe. Raising Bexar & Zoe together strengthened their relationship, as they navigated the joys & challenges of pet parenthood, learning & growing together.


Luis planned the perfect weekend staycation to propose to Alex, choosing the beautiful Omni Resort in Frisco, Texas for their special moment on August 3rd, 2024. The weekend was filled with relaxation & fun, from hitting the golf course to unwinding by the pool & indulging in some much-needed spa time. After a day of their favorite activities, Luis chose the perfect moment to propose just before dinner, catching Alex completely by surprise. In the romantic, serene setting of the resort, he asked her to spend forever with him, making the already unforgettable weekend even more magical & one they will cherish forever.


Now, as Luis & Alex prepare to marry before God, they are honored to celebrate this sacred union in ceremony that reflects their faith & devotion. Their wedding day will be a testament to their journey of love, support & partnership, as they exchange vows & begin this new chapter of their lives together. Surrounded by loved ones, including their two fur babies & blessed by their faith, they look forward to starting their forever with hearts full of gratitude & joy.
