Andy and Alexi first saw each other at a church activity in September 2022 and shyly exchanged glances from across the room, not knowing they had just laid their eyes on their eternal partner.

In December 2022, Andy shared his testimony in church while Alexi sat in the congregation. Alexi leaned over to her friend and said "He's cute," and the friend said, "I'll send him your phone number and tell him you said that." Andy approached Alexi right after church and introduced himself. Alexi was quite flustered, to say the least, but tried to maintain her composure as they made small talk. After a few days of chatting, Andy called Alexi and asked her on their first date. They hit it off pretty well as they bonded over their love of food and K-pop.

Andy and Alexi continued to chat during the Christmas break, but upon returning to Provo for the new semester, Alexi decided that she did not want to go on any dates for the semester. Andy was disappointed but understood. Alexi and Andy continued to see each other in group settings as friends for the rest of the semester.

In May 2023, Andy gave Alexi a ride to the airport. During this car ride, Alexi realized how wonderful of a man Andy was and how comfortable he made her feel. Alexi continued to ponder that during her vacation that week and concluded that she was still interested in Andy. When she came back to Provo, she consulted with many friends and asked if she should pursue him and they all said yes and helped her as best as they could. Alexi finally worked up the courage to confess her feelings to Andy and sent him the text, "Hey, would you be free to talk tomorrow after work?" and in response he texted back our favorite inside joke: "Am I in trouble?" The two met in Provo Kiwanis Park and Alexi was honest about her feelings towards Andy. Andy was ecstatic and agreed to continue going on dates with Alexi.

After a month of dating exclusively, they upgraded their relationship status to boyfriend-girlfriend. After three more months, the two brought up the topic of marriage and decided that there was no other person they wanted to love for the rest of eternity. The couple became engaged on January 26th and have been anxiously waiting for the big day!

We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for bringing us together and for our friends and family who have supported our relationship! We look forward to celebrating with you on June 27th <3
