Our Wedding

William and I actually had met back when we were around 8-9 years old. We both did Bible Quizzing and had competed against each other at different tournaments. But where it all started was in 2010 that summer at Jr. Camp. I would see him every year at camp and always had the biggest crush on him, but this year our paths had crossed.. (finally). William came up to me after the first night and stated to know two things about me, that my name was either Angel or Faith, to which I proceeded to tell him it was neither and introduced myself. He then asked me if I wanted to go play Putt Putt Golf with him, which of course I said yes. Even though we were only 12, I don't know if that was his smooth way of asking me my name , but hey, it worked.After camp, we lost contact and went our separate ways. If there is one good thing about social media, its being able to reconnect with people. In 2018 I get a message from William and we start catching up. He was currently stationed in Japan, so the idea of seeing each other soon wasn't looking to promising, but we stayed in contact off and on throughout that year. In 2019, William came home on leave for Christmas and we made plans to meet up and see if there was actually a connection and if this was something we wanted to continue to pursue. If you ask me, I knew from the very beginning that this was it for me. I never thought that saying "when you know, you know" was true, but then I met William and its the truest statement ever. After meeting in 2019, we never stopped talking and waited 397 days to see each other again. And now the rest is history and I get to marry my childhood crush and best friend.
