“It was a cooler summer night. I remember the wind was up and I really didn’t even feel like going out but the boys convinced me to go. We went to a place called ‘The Point” it is a small bar down in Somers Point. I remember seeing this group of girls randomly show up at the bar but one really stuck out! I was lucky enough that she came up to me without me even having to go up to her. If it wasn’t for my Villanova sweatshirt I really don’t think she even would have had a catch phrase to say to me but good thing I had that sweatshirt. Her catch phrase you wonder? “You look to dumb to have gone to Villanova!” And in that moment I knew I was in love.”

“It was a Friday night and I had to go out with my friends. Chelsea just passed the NCLEX and we promised we would take her out if she passed (and if she didn’t). We were sitting at a table, ripping green tea shots, when suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I notice a group of cute, rowdy men. I scanned the group and as soon as I saw the guy in the Villanova sweatshirt and backwards white hat, I immediately told my friends “I call that one!”. Throughout the night, I noticed the guy kept starring at me. After a few drinks, my friends and I ended up on the dance floor. The group of guys were close to us and I realized this was my chance. I walked over to the guy in the Villanova sweatshirt and said “You look too dumb to have gone to Villanova.” “You’re right!”, he responded. And that is how I met my future husband!”
