Our Wedding

Alexis and Brandon’s story began in the summer of 2021 in Akron, Ohio, during Alexis’s fifth year playing volleyball at the University of Akron. They first crossed paths and quickly struck up a connection, exchanging messages and getting to know each other little by little. Eventually, they went on their first date—and from that moment, they were inseparable. Brandon quickly became Alexis’s biggest supporter, attending her volleyball games for the rest of the season and traveling near and far to cheer her on. At the same time, Alexis became a constant source of encouragement for Brandon as he pursued his career in firefighting. Through the challenges they leaned on each other, building a partnership grounded in love, trust, and unwavering support. After spending so much time together, it was only natural that their relationship grew stronger. In July 2022, Alexis and Brandon took the next big step and moved in together, officially beginning their journey of building a life as a team. In August 2023, Brandon planned a moment Alexis will never forget. As the sun set over the beach in Ocean City, Maryland, with the waves crashing in the background, he got down on one knee and asked Alexis to spend forever with him. Without hesitation, she said yes, and their next chapter officially began. Now, as they prepare to begin this exciting new chapter as husband and wife, Alexis and Brandon can’t wait to celebrate their love surrounded by their closest family and friends.
