Brendan and Alexis always shared a passion for Dirt Car racing at the local race tracks. In a small world, they never realized where their story would begin. In 2019 Brendan started a job at GE where he met one of his co-workers Gerry (Alexis's Father). At this time, Alexis was searching for a new vehicle and Brendan had one to sell, his grandfather's Lincoln! After that life went on and it wasn't until 2021 that they would meet again. After several attempts via SnapChat at Brendan trying to ask Alexis out, it finally happened! We had our first date at Druther's in Saratoga followed by a few drinks. Wouldn't you be surprised to find out that Alexis was the first one to make a move and give Brendan a kiss after that date! From there they became inseparable and have been together ever since!

After a couple years together, sharing a home and raising the kids.. Brendan and Alexis knew they wanted to spend forever together. For months Brendan pondered at how he would 'pop' the question. February is Alexis's birthday month and if you know her, she celebrates ALL month considering she has to share her Birthday with Valentine's day as they are two days apart. Brendan knew that family was very important to Alexis in all aspects of her life. He planned a secret dinner at Turf Tavern in Scotia, with all of Alexis's family in attendance. After having Alexis believe this was just a dinner to celebrate her 30th Birthday (and her wondering why Brendan wouldn't eat and started to sweat..)

Out rolls a big cake with a fondant box on top and 2 dozen cupcakes.

Brendan slides of his seat slowly telling Alexis to open the fondant box. When she does she realizes there is a ring, begins to tear and turns to Brendan.

"So what do you say?"

"Yes!"

Their many favorite memories include cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and of course the Friday and Saturday nights at the race track!
