In 2021, after countless attempts at finding love through friends and acquaintances, Alexis and Brendan took a chance on Bumble. Alexis, following the app's rules, sent the first message – an irresistible invitation to a Marvel movie marathon with someone uninitiated in the superhero universe. (Maybe Star Wars was mentioned too... but let's not bring that up!)

Brendan, intrigued, responded with an invitation to TopGolf. Alexis, who'd snuck out under the pretense of a night out with friends, can now look back at that little white lie to her mom and know it was the best decision of her life. (Sorry, Mom!)

From that day on, Alexis and Brendan were inseparable. They did eventually binge those Marvel movies... then Adam Sandler movies... then stand-up comedy specials... but what they remember most are the conversations that brought them closer. (It's a great excuse to rewatch everything and relive that honeymoon feeling!)

Fast forward to today. An amazing opportunity from Mr. and Mrs. Benson allowed Alexis and Brendan to move back to her hometown. Brendan didn't hesitate – he was ready to run away with her anywhere. The ups and downs of living together have been an adventure, but one that ultimately led to the beautiful decision to make their commitment official.
