Black-Tie Attire! Simply put, black-tie attire is typically reserved for formal evening events. Guests are required to choose floor-length gowns (a sophisticated cocktail dress is acceptable) and tuxedos when attending. A black bow tie, black vest or cummerbund, and patent leather shoes are also recommended. Ladies don't have to stick to black floor-length gowns; they can embrace rich, captivating colors like ruby red, emerald green, deep brown, gold, and deep purple for a sophisticated and elegant look.

Yes, we will offer a shuttle service from the Holiday Inn Express and Suites - charlottesville/ruckersville 5920 Seminole Trail 22968 to and from Castlebrook Estates.

Shuttle buses will begin arriving at the hotel between 3:30 and 3:45 PM and will depart promptly at 4:00 PM to take guests to the venue. Ceremony will be set and ready for guests to sit at 4:30 PM. The celebration will wrap up at 11:00 PM, and return transportation will depart shortly afterward—once everyone is aboard!

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors. The weather in Charlottesville in October is mildly cool and humid but cool, with average highs of 70°F (21°C) and lows of 48°F (9°C).
