It all started with a Snapchat story. Cody first saw Alexis through a mutual friend and knew he had to meet her. A little while later, fate (and that same friend) brought them together at a bar in La Crosse. From the moment they met, the connection was undeniable.

The beginning of their relationship was anything but conventional. Alexis and Cody spent their first year together navigating long distance, making every weekend count. Then, Cody made the big move to Madison, where they started building a life together—one filled with love, laughter, and their beloved dog, Royce.

Eight years later, on their anniversary, Cody surprised Alexis with the perfect proposal in Door County, right by the water. It was a full-circle moment, marking the next chapter in their journey.
