Kaleb and Alexis met in high school! They both were enrolled in art class where their art teacher made them move seats and sit with people they did not know. At first, they were not excited about this, but later would be the greatest gift they have ever received. They hit things off immediately and began talking and hanging out that spring semester. The summer rolled around and things were at a standstill with vacations, sports, and summer activities. The next school year Alexis got hurt playing softball and had to do study hall for the fall semester. She was very discouraged and hated being away from her sport. One day after study hall was over, she decided to hang back a little bit and help a classmate who was on crutches. This was perfect timing as she ran right into Kaleb as he was leaving his class which rekindled the fire they once had. They flourished from that moment as the dates were getting more and more serious. One night after Alexis got off work they went to Freddy’s to get some food for Halloween. Later that night, as Kaleb went to leave he turned around nervously and asked Alexis, “So are we going to make this official?” She replied with a, “yes” and they officially began dating on October 31st, 2019. After high school, Alexis went to college and Kaleb moved out of their hometown. They spent the next four years doing long distance. This has tested and perfected their five year relationship in so many ways, but they are very excited for the next chapter!
