Our Wedding

Sam and I met on May 30th, 2021 at Kira Sushi with our friend Gaby Martinez as our introduction. Sam and I were both recently single and Gaby thought we would be a good match. I think, based on photos, Sam was more interested in meeting. I became more interested once we met. After we had sushi, I invited Sam and Gaby over to watch a movie. The movie was horrible, and Sam and I spent the whole night talking, while Gaby was sleeping on the couch. At the end of the night, he asked for my number, so that I knew he made it back home safely of course. We talked nearly every day since meeting over text and phone calls and he quickly became my summer crush. Due to Sam's work schedule, we didn't see each other again until June 27th, 2021 were I invited him to the beach with my brother and his wife, and my cousins. He had to work in the evening so I walked him to his car at the end of our date and said, "Are you going to kiss me or what?". He laughed and said "I was getting to that!". We used any opportunity we could to see each other, talk to each other, and spend time together. After spending a month or two together, I asked if he would be interest in being more serious with our relationship. He shrugged his shoulders and say "Maybe!" and then walked back into his house, as I headed back home. While I was worried that I had ruined the relationship we had by asking to be something more, he was all excited and planning how he wanted to officially ask. On August 22nd, 2021 Sam and I went to the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in NYC at Pier 36. We had a private viewing on the exhibit and during "Starry Night", he asked me out and be became an official couple!
