Kanah and Alexis met in the halls of Perry High School in 2017. For Kanah’s first year of high school, and Alexis’ last, they shared lots of laughs together at the lunch tables outside. Once Alexis graduated, they didn’t talk again for years. Until 2021, when they met again through a mutual friend and their friendship rekindled. It was like nothing changed, they were back to being thick as thieves and creating new memories. In March of 2022, their bond grew stronger and their relationship blossomed. They became boyfriend and girlfriend on the 21st of March, 2022. A couple years and several dinner and movie dates later, they were planning on starting a new chapter of their lives and moved into their first home together in January of 2024. On Valentine’s Day of 2025, Kanah asked Alexis if she would marry him and of course, she said yes.
