Things to Do

🌿 Explore & Wander

Because you're not just here for the wedding... right? Columbus has a lot to offer—cute neighborhoods, scenic strolls, and spots that make you go "wait, this is in Ohio?"

Franklin Park Conservatory

Where we're getting married! You can check out cool plants, colorful glass art, and walk through a rainforest without the humidity hair. It’s one of our favorite places in the city, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Short North Arts District

Right by most hotels, this area is perfect for wandering. Cute shops, great food, street art, and people-watching for days. Pop into a gallery or just grab a coffee and stroll.

Explore OSU’s Campus

If you’ve got time, take a stroll through The Ohio State University campus. It’s huge, pretty, and full of Buckeye pride. Grab an iced coffee and walk through the Oval, peek into the bookstore, or just say hi to Brutus if you see him.

🍸 Drinks We Love

We can’t make you drink an espresso martini… but we highly recommend it.

Columbus has some great bars—whether you're after rooftop views, craft beer, or a cute cocktail for the group chat.

Lincoln Social

Our go-to spot for a rooftop drink. The views are great, the vibe is fun, and if you like espresso martinis, you’re in the right place. (They also make a mean margarita if coffee cocktails aren’t your thing.)

Brass Eye (Junto Hotel Rooftop)

Another rooftop—because we love a rooftop moment. Cozy seating, good cocktails, and you can see a bit of the skyline while you sip. Bonus: it’s walkable from Land-Grant if you want to make it a little bar crawl.

Land-Grant Brewing

This one’s in Franklinton and has a great outdoor area with picnic tables, food trucks, and beers that even non-beer people might like. Chill, dog-friendly, and very good for a group hang.

🌭 Snacks & Local Eats

You’ve gotta try at least one “only-in-Ohio” thing, right?

Whether it’s a post-bar hot dog or chili on spaghetti (just trust us), these spots are part of the Columbus experience.

Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace

Iconic. Weird. Delicious. You can build your own hot dog or try one of their wild combos (don’t worry, they’ve got veggie options too). Great for a post-drinks stop or casual lunch.

Skyline Chili

An Ohio classic you kinda have to try while you’re here. It’s spaghetti topped with chili and a literal mountain of shredded cheese—and yes, it’s weird and wonderful. Just trust the process.

🥞 Brunch (Because We Know You’ll Be Hungry)

The official meal of the day after a wedding welcome party.

Whether you’re rallying or just easing into the morning, here are our favorite brunch spots around the city.

Hang Over Easy

Does exactly what the name says. If you need eggs, hash browns, or a burrito bigger than your face, this is your place. Very no-fuss, very delicious.

Goodale Station

Rooftop brunch with a city view and just the right amount of bougie. It’s in the Canopy hotel, and the menu’s got something for everyone—whether you want eggs, bubbly, or just to sit in a cute outfit and stare out at the skyline.

Pistacia Vera

Tiny, French, and perfect if you want pastries that are almost too pretty to eat. (Key word: almost.) Their quiche and macarons are musts.

Northstar Café (Short North)

Fresh, bright, and local to Columbus. Their breakfast burrito has a fan club, and the ginger mint lemonade is low-key magical. Great for a quick bite or a slow morning.

🛍️ Other Fun Stuff

If you’ve got time to kill or just want to wander, these are easy wins.

Low-key activities, fun little detours, and spots that are just good for the soul (and maybe a snack).

North Market

A local food hall with everything from pierogi to giant donuts. Perfect for grabbing lunch, people-watching, or picking up a little Ohio-made something to take home.

Scioto Mile

A riverfront walk that’s pretty and peaceful—especially with a to-go drink in hand. There are fountains, parks, and plenty of spots to sit and pretend you’re in a music video.

Pins Mechanical Co.

Mini bowling, retro arcade games, and drinks in plastic cups—what more could you want? Great for a group hang or if you’re feeling competitive.
