OUR STORY

Alexis and I met when we were 12 through a mutual friend. At that age we would hang out often and spend a lot of time together around the neighborhood. As time went on we wouldn't see each other as much because we went to different schools. We reconnected again in college when she offered to help me study for a class she hadn't taken and had no knowledge of. I was re-smitten immediately. After this we've been inseparable since. In truth I wanted to propose fairly early on but elected to wait until we graduated from college. I proposed to Alexis on July 13th 2024. I'm pretty sure she said yes but the whole thing is a bit of a blur. I was shaking way more than I thought I would and my eyes started sweating...because it was hot outside.we've grown a lot in the 4 years we've dated. we've grown in our love for each other as well as in our understanding and appreciation for each other. I've had the privilege to get to know her in a deeper way than I knew possible. Alexis is steadfast, trustworthy, honest, grounded, thoughtful, courageous, and selfless. She has a steady, dense faith that inspires me every day. we are excited to spend the rest of our lives loving each other, learning about each other, and growing together. We are also excited to have you all with us to celebrate this new chapter in our lives.

Hi everyone! I’m Gaby Struckmeyer- Alexis sister, so obviously I’ve known her my whole life, I’ve seen her through all her stages of life, but this one coming up might be my favorite! I know she couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing by her side on her wedding day because let’s face it I’ve been by her side her whole life cheering her on, annoying her, encouraging her and loving her.  I’m so happy Alexis found Michael, he’s taught her a love that is kind, patient and unwavering. I can’t wait to see where their future takes them as they take on this new chapter together!

I've been best friends with Alexis Since freshman year of high school and right away I knew how close Alexis and I would become and loved how natural our friendship was! Little did we know we met for the first time when we were 5 in kindergarten!!!! I have so much love for Alexis and Michael as they enter this crazy fun ride called marriage!! I've never met two people more destined for each other!

Hi my name is Joie and I am one of Alexis’ bridesmaids. I met Alexis my sophomore year of highschool and to say she is one of the most genuine, kind and loyal people is an understatement! Since the day we met we have been inseparable and I am so excited to stand next to her on the most special day of her life!!

Hey, everyone! I’m Brianna and I’m one of Alexis’s bridesmaids! I first met Alexis when we cheered together in 8th grade, but grew inseparable by the time we were freshman. I am so happy she has found the love of her life, and so incredibly excited to see where this journey takes her and Michael. They are both so amazing for each other and I know they will live a life full of love and laughter!
