Our Wedding

According to Nick, their first introduction was at their little hometown BBQ restaurant, Hawg Shed. Lexi was only 16 at the time and doesn’t remember this meeting at all. They ran into each other at a party thrown by a mutual friend a couple years later. After Lexi graduated high school and moved out of Buckner they lost touch outside of staying Facebook friends. Nick was very persistent about wanting to take Lexi out on a date, and she finally gave in November of ‘19. They had an instant connection, and knew they were meant for each other! 

How We Met 

<p>Nick always jokes that it took Lexi a decade to decide to give him a chance, and that’s pretty much the truth. Their first “date” was in November of 2019, they moved in together the weekend the C*vid lockdown started, and adopted a dog (Axel) in May ‘20. Nick proposed on July 13th, 2021 at the Neon Sign Museum in Las Vegas, Lexi said yes (obviously)! Lexi was insistent that they get married before she turns 30 in June, so 3/11/22 was the date chosen. <br> 🖤</p>
