In October of 2017, the fall of Lexi’s freshman year and Matt’s sophomore year at Culver-Stockton College, we met through mutual friends. We started dating immediately after, never leaving each other’s sides. We spent all of our time making memories and surrounding ourselves with our friends and loved ones, we were always on the go. In 2021 a year after Matt graduated, Lexi graduated and followed her heart to Kansas City to be with Matt where they would get started in their careers.

A week after their 5 year anniversary on November 19th 2022, Matt popped the question outside of the Nelson-Atkins Museum.

We share a love of many things like attending country concerts, spending time with our two fur babies Lacy and Georgia, and always being down for the next adventure.

We are so excited to become The Thompson’s and celebrate with all of our loved ones!
