The proposal occurred at Sunset Beach, NC on Wednesday, August, 9th 2023 at sunset. We were accompanied by Alexis's paternal Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. All were surprised and it was a magical experience.

The engagement dinner was an intimate dining experience at The Parsons Table in Little River, SC on Thursday, August 10th. Thoughtfully sourced American dishes, Josh had the special: Pecan Crusted Swordfish and Alexis had: Wild Mushroom Tortellini and She Crab Soup. We celebrated with Josh's mother's favorite Champagne. The Parsons Table is in a former church with stained-glass windows.
