Booking Instructions

Doolin is pretty small but there are several small hotels and B&amp;Bs in the village of Doolin, most of which will be within walking distance of the wedding. We've linked to several of the smaller local options below. We would recommend staying at these small inns, b&amp;bs or finding an airbnb. You have to get yourself to the wedding (ceremony will be at Hotel Doolin) but we'll be having a shuttle taking everyone home at the end of the night to their respective lodgings.

As of Jan 2025: Unfortunately they won't hold any rooms for us, but we've been told there are rooms avaiilable for our wedding weekend.

This includes utilities, linen, towels, wifi and booking fee. To book we require a deposit 20% and the balance for a group booking is 30 days prior to arrival.

If you're looking for more of an air bnb experience The 3 nights stay in the two bed is €485 and&nbsp;4 nights is €665The 3 nights stay in the 3 bed is €585 and the 4 nights is €755.This is a cash rate. To reserve we will need a non refundable deposit €200. The cash balance can be paid on arrival.

As of April 2025 we found out Hotel Doolin has built new suites next door to the main hotel. There is still a limited number, but you can keep this in mind! You can use their general booking to see what they have available.

Things to Do

We met while Alexis was working on her Master's at the University of Limerick and spent our first date with an unplanned pub-hopping excursion throughout Limerick. It turned into us hanging out every weekend until Ireland rather suddenly shut down for the pandemic. We talked every day and as soon as we were allowed to see each other in person again, we returned to our weekend visits. Fast forward to Dave moving to America to join Alexis after she returned to the States once she finished her Master's. Since then, we've enjoyed living in Philadelphia, travelling around the country to visit friends, attend weddings and recently moved to Colorado! We're peacocks captain, you got to let us fly!

About Alexis: Alexis Maura Cecilia Higgins was born on June 22, 1991 to Mary neé Kilbride and Glenn Higgins and is an only child because they only needed 1 perfect specimen. She was raised in Middletown, New Jersey and is a proud Jersey girl and beach baby.

About Dave: David ''Dave'' Stephen Flynn was born on October 30, 1989 along with his twin sister Lisa to MariAnn née Riddler and Stephen Flynn where he joined his older siblings, Vicky and Shane. He was raised in their lovely country home in Doora and is a proud Clare (NOT Limerick, never Limerick) man. Up the Banner
