It all started with a Hinge match in April 2024. We chatted, lost touch by summer, and thought that was the end of it—until fate had other plans. In November, Garrett (a firefighter/ EMT) brought a patient into the ER where Alexis was working as the charge nurse. That unexpected reunion sparked something real, and we made it official soon after. Eight months later, while on a beach in Florida—under the ruse of spotting sea turtles—Garrett got down on one knee. The rest is our favorite kind of history.
