Ben and Lexi's journey begins hundreds of miles from both of their homes in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ben and Lexi found themselves sent by a calling to participate in a FOCUS Mission Trip serving those experiencing homelessness. While there, they learned from others, made new friendships, and dove deeper into their faith than ever before. Little did they know, God had even bigger plans for the two...

Upon learning they only lived an hour and a half away from each other, Ben and Lexi decided maybe they wanted to see each other just one more time. Looking back on this beautiful day in South Haven, Michigan, the two realize this was their first real "date."

After an entire summer of staying up late to talk on the phone about their day, pray, or simply just to say hi, Ben and Lexi knew they wanted to be more than just friends. So, Ben drove 5.5 hours to Cleveland, Ohio to visit Lexi at the end of her summer internship. Here, they finally decided it was time to make things "official."

As their relationship grew deeper, Ben and Lexi shared their love for exploring the outdoors, starting in Northern Michigan. Here, Ben and Lexi explored the beautiful rolling hills of Petosky amidst the changing Fall leaves. Of course the two had to stop at the original Kilwin's so Lexi could get a scoop of ice cream before heading home.

Ben and Lexi's outdoor adventures continued in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a night of ice skating. (Wipeouts on the ice not pictured...)

Of course, living in two separate cities did come with some challenges...

But the two never failed to make each other smile.

Over the course of their relationship, Ben and Lexi have challenged each other to step outside of their comfort zones, to achieve new goals. While Lexi's first time camping certainly came with many unexpected surprises, Lexi thinks she'll go again... eventually...

Of course a timeline of Ben and Lexi wouldn't be complete without a picture of them eating some of their favorite foods together.

Two years after meeting each other, Ben and Lexi decided to return to their old stomping grounds in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Rainbow Lake. Little did Lexi know what would follow...

Ben dropped to one knee on what is now known as "Ben and Lexi's rock" (at least to them) and asked Lexi to spend the rest of her life with him, and of course, she said YES!!!
