Alexis (who was at home with Covid) had called out Matt (who was in class at Eggertsville) on Zoom during class, saying “who are you I don’t know you? You weren’t here the first day”.
During the class they had been flirting with each other the whole time without realizing they were flirting with each other. They also matched on Tinder while the class was in session (they knew each other when they matched). The night of the Super Bowl is when they matched. At the end of class their one classmate had a bonfire. Alexis had called Matt to see if he was going to the fire he hadn’t been planning on it but Alexis did some convincing and got him to go. They had met up at Walmart cause Alexis had to get a chair and pretty sure that’s where they realized at least a little bit that they liked each other more than friends but not fully realized. At the bonfire they had really been flirting and growing closer together that whole night. At the end of the night before they had headed home they walked together to their cars. It was quite late and the stars were out with clear sky’s. They had been looking up at the stars pretty closely together and having a fun argument about the Big Dipper and Little Dipper. They ended up looking into each other’s eyes and it was like the Zing in Hotel Transylvania, which is when Matt and Alexis really realized they liked each other more than friends.
They had hung out the whole week leading up to the day he had asked her to be his girlfriend. Their first date was technically the Mall but they consider their first date Niagara Falls. He asked her to be his Girlfriend on May 14th 2022 at Canalside.
