Q + A

Can I bring a guest/date?

Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate extra guests. Our capacity constraints mean that only individuals specifically named on your invitation can be admitted. If a member of your party is unable to attend, we ask that you not invite a guest in place of that member. We would love our wedding to be as intimate as possible. Thank you for understanding

Are children invited?

Although we love your little ones, this will be an adult only ceremony and reception

Are there Bears?

Yes! Bears live in the area so please be mindful. Please remove all food, trash, and any items with a scent. They will break into your car if they smell something good

When should I RSVP?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 8th. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates

What should I wear?

We would love for our guests to dress in cocktail attire. We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans. Please keep the weather in mind while choosing your attire

What will the weather be like?

Weather in South Lake Tahoe during this time is usually in the low 40s to high 50s, with a possibility of snow. As of now, the weather for this day is projected to be a high of 56. In the event it snows on the wedding day, accommodations will be made so that our guests are not sitting in snow. There are plenty of fireplaces inside and on the main balcony to ensure our guests are warm. We will be updating our guests with weather information as the wedding approaches

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony

What will be served for dinner ?

We will be serving alfredo pasta, tri-tip, salad, and dinner rolls for dinner

Will there be an open bar?

Alcohol will be self-served. With that being said, we ask that all guests please drink responsibly and respect Tahoe Blue Estate. If you plan on drinking, please make transportation accommodations prior to drinking.
