Our Wedding

A modern day lovestory! Alex and Alexis met via an online dating app in February of 2021. Their first date was over 3 hours long as Alex had planned wine tastings, dinner and a movie at a historical theatre. Alexis asked Alex on a second date to a rodeo and the rest is history! Since the beginning the future Mr. and Mrs. have shared a love for wine, travel, and spending time outdoors.

Alexis has been my best friend since the summer before we started high school that we spent all summer together in cheer practices. I think some are my favorite memories were our daily lunchtime bathroom breaks because we drank too much tea, late night giggling on the cheer bus home from games, and of course, dancing with our poles in our senior musical, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” There are too many inside jokes to name, but I still think that my favorite one is that no, the Civil War generals advertised on the reenactment flyer will not really be at the event (yes, she ask if they would be there). I’m so incredibly happy to stand by your side on your wedding day, I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become. I love you so much and am so incredibly happy for you and Alex!

Alexis met my husband on our first date and after he left she came over to my apartment when we lived on YSU’s campus less than a mile apart from each other. I had just opened the door for her and was about to say “well what do you think of him” but couldn’t even get the words out of my mouth before she said “you’re going to marry him one day, and also he looks like Luke Combs.” And that moment has gone down in history because we are now married, have been for 2 years and have a 1 year old daughter together! My husband also said about 3 words to her that night and no one was even drunk.

Alexis is my older cousin that is more like a sister to me. My favorite memory is when Alexis and I left grandma in the dust to get water splashed on her at Hershey Park.

Alexis is the “random grad school roommate” that turned into one of my best friends! My best memories with Alexis include wine nights while we studied, random trips to the Outlet Mall (because we had money to spend??), and her being the best cat auntie to my two fur babies. Life is pretty great when you have friends like Alexis !

Q: Do I need to allow extra time when arriving at the ceremony site?A: Yes, the chapel at our venue is apporx 1 mile drive from the main entrance. Please allow a few extra moments for the drive an parking. Q: Are the ceremony and reception at 2 separate locations?A: Yes, the reception is located at the Son's of Italy in Ellwood City. Q: Where can we stay for the weekend?A: A block of rooms has been reserved for our out of town loved ones. Please see the travel section of this website for further information. Ladies, the venue space is a combination of gravel and grass, please plan your footwear accordingly!
