Our narrative begain in 2011 when we went on a double date to the cinema to view "Red Riding Hood." It was during this cinematic encounter that Mitchell became Allie's first kiss. Despite not progressing into a deeper connection following that initial date, our paths crossed throughout the following years.

Fast-forward to September 26th, 2022, when Mitchell texted Allie inquiring about if her current residence was still in Duluth. Mitchell was looking for a +1 for an upcoming wedding. Regrettably, Allie had prior commitments to attend another wedding during that same weekend. Nevertheless, this circumstance did not hinder the continuation of our daily texts.

The persistence of our communication ultimately led to our first date on October 7th, where we drank and dined at First Draft Brewery and Black Sheep Pizza in Minneapolis. The evening went so smoothly that both Mitchell and Allie were certain that they had encountered their lifelong partner.

Since our first date, our connection has been unwavering. Throughout the first year of dating, we traveled to Colorado, Tennessee, Canada and visited Florida on four separate occasions. Subsequently, we made the collective decision to relocate from Minnesota, opting to reside in Tampa, Florida in January of 2024.

On the 28th of October 2023, Mitchell and Allie had scheduled a trip to Pine Tree Apple Orchard with Mitchell's brother, sister-in-law, and nieces and nephew. Upon arrival, Mitchell realized that he had “left his wallet in the car” and proceeded to retrieve it. As he walked away, Mitchell's brother handed Allie a card and instructed her to walk along the apple tree path. Along this path, she encountered both her and Mitchell's immediate family and close friends, each presenting her with a letter containing a personalized note for the couple.

This orchestrated sequence of events led Allie to arrive at the pumpkin patch, where Mitchell awaited her with the final letter. The inscription read, "From your first kiss to a lifetime together." At that moment, Mitchell knelt down on one knee, expressing heartfelt sentiments of his love for her and proposing marriage. Allie responded with "Absolutely," and they proceeded to commemorate the joyous occasion with their loved ones at Rudy's Red Eye Grill in White Bear Lake.
