Theodore and Alexis met in March through an online dating app. Though neither of them initially expected much from it, Theodore asked Alexis to go on a date. After spending hours together on the first date, they realized they had a lot of values in common and genuinely enjoyed each others company. After one date that seemed to last a life time, it was history from there.

How We Met

Alexis invited Theodore to meet her family in Arkansas and packed for a week long trip. As they made the long drive, Alexis had no idea her life was about to change. As they enjoyed spending time with her family and being in each others company out in the quiet of the country, Theodore had started planning where the engagement would happen. Alexis took Theodore on a tour of the property oh a four-wheeler having no clue she was helping plan her own engagement. After days of riding around, watching the sunset, and feeding the cows, the came to their second to last evening in Arkansas. As Alexis took them high up in one of the pastures, you could see the property shining with the setting sun as Alexis and Theodore sat there just savoring the moment. While Alexis was thinking of where else they could go, Theodore was figuring out exactly what to say to lead into one of the most important moments of his life. After a truly heart felt and emotional speech Alexis was completely unprepared when Theodore knelt down in the long grass of the pasture. After berating him for letting her wear pajamas she excitedly said yes and they both took in the moment of now being engaged.

Jennifer and Alexis have been friends the longest going on a little over three years. They both met at work in the same place Alexis met Clarissa and they are all in the same friend group. Although Jennifer and Alexis butt heads a majority of the time- they always find a way to have a good laugh even if it's at each other. Alexis could not picture her bridal party without her in it.

Clarissa met Alexis at work and have been friends for two and a half years now. They have had many laughs together and Alexis immediately knew she had to ask her to be a bridesmaid! Clarissa has been there for Alexis through so much and always has the best advice to give in any situation. Alexis doesn't know what she'd do on this hectic day without her!

Alexis met Talisha also at work and it did not take very long for them to become friends. With Talisha's optimism, great personality, and a sense of humor that rivaled Alexis', it was no wonder they became good friends! Although they live a bit far from one another it has not stopped them from keeping in contact and Alexis quickly reaching out to ask her to be a part of this special day.
