What started as a Waffle House date in college turned into a blossoming relationship. A couple years of long distance was more than enough for me to know that Wade was my person, the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Almost ten years ago, Wade and I were two kids madly in love and ready to start our lives together. We had no idea we would face the highest of highs (buying our first house, loving on our first fur babies, and building a business, to name a few) and the lowest of lows (loss, grief, bears, and tornados - iykyk). We've gotten older, wiser, and fallen even more in love these past ten years. And we're so excited to share this special day with our friends and family. - Alexis

From the very first time we hung out, I knew! Alexis showed me her true loving, funny, and kind-hearted self. She was immediately comfortable being herself around me. I've always felt in sync like she's my other half. We finish each other's thoughts and sentences and unconsciously dress in the same colors (seriously, with no planning). Quick story... After hanging out all weekend, I took her back to campus to drop her off at her dorm. We talked for about two hours outside because neither of us wanted to leave each other. While she was sitting on the back of my Mustang, I uttered, "I can see myself marrying someone like you when I'm 30"... Little did I know our love story had already begun. A year and a half later, I found myself cornering her dad in the laundry room, asking him for his daughter's hand in marriage. It doesn't even feel like 10 years have passed sometimes, but our lives have been blessed beyond measure. - Wade
