Like any love story, it is not all glitz and glamour, but it is our story, and we love every moment of it. We first met when Alex was fresh out of college and Alexis was finishing up her final year. Like many first times, we met at a party. One could say the rest was history. But that would be the easy way out of telling the story.

As we started spending time together, we quickly realized we shared many common interests such as skiing, hiking and a desire to travel. We also had a number of mutual friends which made it easy and fun. Many seasons spent at Bromley Mountain and hiking excursions all over CT, NY, and VT have amplified our love of the outdoors. We have had amazing trips with friends and family. Highlights include a week in Spain exploring Madrid and Barcelona and driving down Route 1 in California as well as doing some extraordinary hikes in Patagonia this past winter.

It took nine years for Alex to finally slip onto one knee to ask the age-old question and he certainly didn't make it easy. On Memorial Day weekend in 2023, he and Alexis had to hike to the top of Bromley Mountain. Overlooking the Green Mountain National Forest, Alex finally said the words Alexis had been waiting to hear: "Will you marry me?" Can you believe she said YES?! As with all great love stories, this is only the beginning and we look forward to all that life has to offer us!

Most importantly, we are very excited to be able to share our wedding day with you and we are counting down the days when we can all celebrate together.
