Q + A

How do I get there?

Both Denver International Airport and Colorado Springs Airport are good options. DIA is a 2.5-hour drive from the venue, and COS is a 1.25-hour drive. We strongly encourage guests to consider arranging similar flight schedules for convenient travel (i.e. coordinating rental vehicles and shared lodging). If you are interested but unsure who to plan with, please reach out to Alexis or Sophia. The venue is a straight shot from I-25 exit 74 . Go west, on highway 165 for 11 miles, and turn right onto Pinecone road - which is marked with a sign that says “8600-8675”. We will have our own signage for the Robert-Bouzis wedding as well. Follow the dirt road, keeping right at the “Y” and continuing past the cattle guards until you get to the “Glen Echo Ranch” gates! The drive from the interstate is approximately 13 minutes. You will pass through Colorado City and Rye, until you see a ranch with dark green barns and a big green gate on your right. The turn is IMMEDIATELY after their entrance.

What about lodging?

As has been the theme of this Q&A, we think it makes sense for guests to coordinate lodging. The Days Inn by Wyndham in Colorado City is an affordable option and a 15-minute drive from the venue. There are also many beautiful, sharable vacation rentals in the Colorado City/Rye area (see "lodging" tab for convenient links). Camping is also strongly encouraged when possible, contact Alexis or Sophia if interested or if you have any other questions.

What should I know about attire?

Attire is semi-formal, but please bear in mind there will be uneven, natural terrain surrounding the venue. There will also be a dance floor. As such, we recommend shoes that you can get a little bit dirty and move well in. We also encourage our guests to consider including vintage, recycled, or thrifted clothing when selecting their attire.

Where do I park?

Turn onto Pinecone Road from HWY 165 and follow signs to the parking/drop-off point. Limited parking is available; please carpool to ensure we have enough space! There will be a drop-off point at the ceremony location with parking 0.25 miles (a 5 min walk) down a dirt road.
